How We Remove Pet Urine Odor
After the Five Star Chem-Dry technician arrives, he will perform a UV light inspection to locate all of the areas where there is pet urine. Some of the pet urine will not be visible to the human eye and requires UV detection.

Following UV detection, our technician rinses your carpet using our Hot Carbonating Extraction (HCE) to extract soils, particles and other contaminants as well as the urine near the surface of the carpet.

Then technician carefully applies P.U.R.T.® to all of the surface-level and embedded stains. P.U.R.T.® causes a chemical reaction that abolishes the pet urine odor and removes it from the carpet.
